In creating this pastel painting, I wanted to capture the essence of strength and majesty embodied by this magnificent bird of prey. The focus of the piece is on the bird's intense, unwavering gaze, which I sought to render with a depth that draws the viewer in, almost as if they are locking eyes with the creature itself.
